The Sierra de los Molinos in Campo de Criptana has new artistic lighting as a fundamental part of the development of the town’s tourism strategy.

The Sierra de los Molinos, located in Campo de Criptana, is one of the most iconic tourist attractions in Castilla-La Mancha, and now, thanks to new artistic lighting, its beauty has been enhanced even further.

The giant mills comprising the Sierra now have uniform, medium-intensity lighting, which not only enhances their beauty but also reduces light pollution. This lighting is achieved through two types of LED floodlights, designed for outdoor and indoor lighting, and a Bluetooth Low Energy remote control system, which allows the intensity of the light to be adjusted according to the time of day.

This new lighting includes a range of colours from white to purple, red, blue or green. Automatic scenes have been scheduled and are controlled from the tourist office via a tablet and remotely via the 4G network.
