Xavier Mariscal is a painter, designer, cartoonist, etc. who works in all types of supports and disciplines: graphic design, landscape architecture, painting, sculpture, illustration, animation, product design, interior decoration, and multimedia, never forgetting his identity as a cartoonist. His speciality is drawing, that is why his attitude towards any job is artistic, using a universal and timeless language that adds value, singularity, and emotion to his proposals. His boldness runs parallel to the challenges he has taken such as the design of the mascot of the Olympic Games held in Barcelona, the design of a luxury hotel, the illustration of covers in the New Yorker, El País or the Japanese magazine Apo, or the animated film Chico & Rita alongside Fernando Trueba, for which they won a Goya and were nominated to the Oscar for Best Animated Picture.
